KMBT Broadband Precision Voltage Measurement System
The KMBT electrical parameter measurement complex is designed for measuring DC and AC voltage, recording oscillograms, identifying emergency situations in the grounding system, and controlling protective automation devices.
The complex consists of two main components: a primary voltage measurement converter (divider), which provides scaling conversion of DC and AC voltage, and an analog-to-digital conversion module (ADC module).
IEC 61850-9-2 Digital Substation Preprocessor
The software-hardware complex “Digital Substation Preprocessor” (SHC) is designed for building automated systems based on IEC 61850-9-2. The SHC provides:
- Reception of streaming data in IEC 61850-9-2 format;
- Execution of communication and service functions with IEC 61850-9-2 data streams;
- Performance of preliminary processing of streaming data.
The “Digital Substation Preprocessor” (SHC) consists of hardware in the form of an interface board (PCIe/PXIe) with embedded software (ESW) operating within it (the specified ESW is supplied only as part of the Preprocessor (SHC) and is not provided to the customer on a paid basis as separate software; the description of the functional characteristics of the aforementioned ESW and the information necessary for the operation of the aforementioned ESW are provided in the operator’s manual for the software-hardware complex (SHC) (KMBT.108.002 D2)). Multifunctional Power Quality Analyzer ShMK96/ShMK120C/ShMK120-SP
Company “ITC Continuum” in collaboration with the Cheboksary plant “Electropribor” has developed a new measurement platform – the multifunctional panel-mounted meter ShMK96.
The developed device performs power quality measurements in accordance with the requirements of the GOST 30804.4.30 standard for devices of the highest accuracy class (Class A). Support for the most common communication protocols allows the developed device to be integrated into most existing telemetry systems. Thanks to modern manufacturing technology and the quality of materials and components used, the main advantages of the device are its panel-mounted design with minimal dimensions in its class (96×96 mm on the front panel) and a record low price for a device of this class.Current Transformer ShTT-0.95

GenericX Solution Line
GenericX significantly reduces development timeframes, guarantees information compatibility of devices, and ensures compliance of solutions with international requirements and standards. The proposed approach involves separating the GenericX software-hardware block and the block of applied algorithmic software (software-hardware or software-only). Information exchange for the applied algorithmic part of devices is carried out through GenericX elements, which ensure the operation of corresponding information protocols, compliance with data transmission and processing regulations, correct data interpretation, and support for the necessary level of protocol implementation variability for information compatibility. GenericX allows users to focus on implementing algorithms and functional content of devices without expending resources on labor-intensive implementation of digital substation information protocols.
Software-hardware implementation of “Digital Substation” protocols ensures high operational characteristics and does not require allocation of computational and communication resources from the application core. In particular, the synthesis of software and hardware components provides high precision synchronization via the PTP protocol (IEC 61588), reliability and independence of operation of redundant communication interfaces (PRP/HSR protocols, IEC 62439-3), reduced load on the application core when working with streaming data (including IEC 61850-9-2), information stability under high communication loads (including GOOSE storms), etc.
The GenericX solutions are based on the results of the company’s many years of work in developing intelligent electronic devices (IED), its own implementation stack of information protocols, and original software-hardware solutions.
More details …Field Converter for Instrument Transformers
On a contract basis, the company has developed field converters for current and voltage instrument transformers (Stand Alone Merging Units) – devices that generate an IEC 61850-9-2 data stream when connected to traditional current and voltage instrument transformers with analog outputs. Thus, the device enables the achievement of most technical and economic effects associated with the implementation of electronic transformers and the process bus.
The device addresses both protection tasks (connection to relay windings and generation of Sampled Values stream for protection purposes) and measurement tasks (connection to measurement windings and generation of Sampled Values stream for measurement purposes).
Key features of the developed devices include:
- comprehensiveness of the solution: the devices do not require additional structural elements or transition terminals. The design of the device considers both the simplification of installation and the organization of operation of secondary circuits and the device itself.
- installation in close proximity to current and voltage instrument transformers: the devices are designed for outdoor operation, in a climatic range from -55°C to +55°C.
