Through-hole current sensors

ITT-500 and ITT-500R through-hole current sensors are designed for measuring direct, alternating, pulse currents or their combinations and provide galvanic isolation between primary and secondary circuits.

The ITT-500 sensor is built according to a compensation circuit using a Hall sensor.

The ITT-500R sensor is based on Flux Gate technology.

The output signal (secondary current) is proportional to the input signal (primary current).

Sensor features:

  • provide the ability to measure both direct and alternating current;
  • wide frequency range;
  • high accuracy and linearity;
  • high galvanic isolation;
  • no core saturation effect;
  • low phase shift;
  • resistance to current asymmetry (ability to measure complex waveform currents — non-sinusoidal, pulsed, with DC component);
  • high response speed, allowing detection of rapid current changes, inrush currents, short circuits, and transient processes;

Additional features for ITT-500R:

  • low noise level;
  • sensitivity to low currents;
  • suppression of external magnetic fields.
